How to fix a Mamiya lens.

I am about to list my old Mamiya Universal Press and one of the lenses I got for it is a Mamiya 150mm f5.6. Unfortunately a few years ago, the focussing ring came loose from the camera and so now, to all intents and purposes the lens is useless. tAt the time, I took the lens to a Hasselblad repair man I knew but he told me it was impossible to fix. The focussing ring can't come off the lens because of the shutter switches but is totally detached form the lens body.

I've attached a photo of the lens.

Has anybody got any ideas as to how to fix the lens?

I am not familiar with the lens at all, but could it be the set screws are loose or missing? After that, don't have a clue, but I don't think it's impossible to fix, just may not be worth it?

Switches? The shutter is mechanical and the only switch should be the for the sync contact.
Presuming there aren't any broken bits, it should be pretty straightforward.

In your picture there is a slot head set screw in the focus ring near middle of the photo. There may be another one or two around the focus ring equal distance from this one. Loosen them so the ring slips into place or is in correct orientation then tighten them. Some retaining screws will have an unthreaded pin lead end that must fit into a hole in the moving collar, cup end screws will most likely mate against a flat on the moving collar under the control ring. If there is more than one screw tighten each a slight amount and repeat until all are equally tight.
