FE and F6. Keeping FE as my priced collection Love the F6. Truly the most comfortable piece I have ever owned.

While I love my F2s for their sheer ruggedness and heft (and "battery-free" operation), I, too, have to commend our friends at Nikon for the ergonomics on both the F5 and the F6. My only complaint for the former is the "on/off" switch which, rather frustratingly, requires a two-finger effort to operate.:munch:

I only have one Nikon, a Lite Touch. Very nice camera.

On the other hand, I have something over 40 Canons!

Add in another F3HP/MD4/AH3 combo. I picked up the set for $125.00 from a (in my view, misguided) colleague who switched to d*****l. Unfortunately, I could not talk this poor soul out of any of his Nikkor primes (I would like to get my paws on his 105mm f/2.5 AI and his 15mm f3.5 AIS); oh well...

You can always remind him what a great lens the 14-24/2.8 is, and point out how redundant his 15mm will be if he owns that one.

the Fugi, the D1 was Nikon's 1st andthey had some problems, the Fugi operates just like a N80, use3s Nikkor glass and takes great pics, I still prefer film but for posting on the internet or just playing around the Fugi is a lot of fun

Right now, four. Two black F2AS bodies, a black F FTn, and a chrome Nikomat FTn. The most I've owned, all at once, would've been 13, back in January 2006. Had a chrome early F with waistlevel, two black F2A's, an F3HP, F3P, F4s, two Nikkormat FT2's, two FM's, two FM2n's, and a black Nikomat FTn that was used as a donor for one of the FT2's.

Over the years, I've owned around 155 Nikon bodies, starting out with a chrome Nikomat FTn that my dad gave me for doing chores around the house. The explosion of Nikon bodies didn't occur until January 2005, when prices of film gear plummeted.

Only four... Geez...

Let's start this over again...

At this moment:

F in black with F-36 drive
F2AS with MD-2/MB1 in black
F2AS in black (no motor drive - and, no, not the same one mentioned in the quoted part)
F3HP with MD-4
F4
F5
FM2n in chrome
D200 (rut roh)
Nikomat FTn chrome
Nikomat FT2 black

Lenses:

18-70 DX kit lens for the rut roh camera
28/3.5 H
35/2 O
50/1.8 AF
50/1.8 AIS
50/1.4 AI
50/1.4 S
85/1.8 K
135/3.5 Q
200/4 Q

All the pre-AI glass have factory AI rings on them.

One more than I had last week: Added another F3HP to the family as of Wednesday. May keep this one motor-less (thanks for the heads-up, though, re Kenmore Camera, John F). Still on the prowl for a F3P (to which I will add a motor); a fourth F3 body would balance out the F3 contingent...:whistling:

Bradley,

You too, eh? I'm mainly on the prowl for my first F3, which happened to be a really beat F3P. If I get it, I probably won't shoot with it much, but, it'd be cool to have something that was the first of a certain type of gear that I'd owned in the past. Think it may be a test camera at Camera Clinic in Shoreline, WA.

Nice collection, fstop! So....I guess with (currently) 16 Nikons (12 of which are active) in my arsenal, I shouldn't feel guilty about the growing size of my family...:D

I only listed the Nikons hahahaha I didn't mention the Minoltas,Canons and Olympus' (or is that Olympi?)
My collection of parts cameras is not that large, maybe 4 or 5, I keep buying bodies for parts to fix other bodies and often find the parts camera that was described as not working, works perfectly after a little CLA.This is how I ended up with 5 FAs, only one is truly a parts body.Kept getting either a body that worked normally, the seller didn't understand the system operation or batteries in upside down, one had film in it that was wound to the end so it would not wind any further they thought it was jammed.I always open the back to examine the shutter and was surprised to see film in it.rewound it and voila it works!
