How many formats do you shoot?

Please forgive me for asking, but seriously, why?

Let's see:

Minox - rarely, but the camera (an Atoron) is such a jewel
110 - Pentax 110 - has there ever been more camera in a smaller package? I also use it in an old Weathermatic that I can let kids take swimming, in my neighbor's son's model rocket, and in a Vitoret that fits in my palm
645 (in this case 8 on 127) - because a Kodak Vest Pocket Autographic is fun to carry around
4x4 - a beautiful little Yashica 44, and until very recently - superslides
126 - my warped sense of humor strikes - I have an Instamatic 104 with a dive housing! Besides, I like the expression on the guys' faces at the lab when I hand it to them.
35mm - all the usual reasons
35mm panoramic (24x56mm) - some scenes are best captured with the Horizon
6x6 - Size, plus it's what I learned with, and I use TLRs and 6x6 SLRs a lot
6x7 - two rollfilm backs came with a horseman 980 I got for a song, so...
6x9 - biggest negative possible in a camera I can still put in a coat pocket
2x3 sheet - because it is a bit lighter to carry around than 4x5, and one of the 2x3 cameras has more movements than my 4x5s
Polaroid pack film - proofing and transfers
SX-70 film - can't look a gift horse in the mouth - the camera was free and has an interesting (though possibly apochryphal) history
4x5 - because size matters, but portability does too
5x7 - because size matters

Admittedly I could easily eliminate the Minox, 110, 126, 127 and SX-70 film, all of which I use in part for amusement instead of serious photos. But what is wrong with amusement?

6 x 7 and 35mm. 6 x 7 almost exclusively for quite a while until recently when I bought an FM3a which I like it even more than my FM2. So using both formats at the moment. In general, can't be bothered with lots of cameras (I get confused enough with the choice I have) but may try large format one day.

35mm (2.4x3.6)... but I wind it three ways (motor drive, lever and knob) so does that count as three formats?
120 (6x6 and 6x7, the latter on LF cameras with a rollfilm back)...
4"x5" ...

Hardly any at all!

35mm;120mm;4x5;5x7;and 8x10. Using mostly the 120 as it is truly versatile and gives great prints. Haven't picked up a view camera in oh so many months....

Jeremy-you're probably right. I was perusing the classifieds today and it came across in my mind. How did you know that? Kind of a cross between a view and a tlr-right? Good sized negative too!! OK sign me up!! The way I'm going I'll need 2 more freezers jsut for the film and paper!!!

35mm, 645,6x6,6x9,4x5,5x7, 4x10 (OK it's really 8x10 negative with a splitter) and 8x10. Most used right now is the 5x7, followed by the 4x5 and 8x10, then 645. Try to give most of them a workout every 6 months though - why? because they change the way I see things and force me to rethink what I'm doing...good exercise for the cameras and me

Not counting 110, of which two recent rolls were an aberration due to a "keychain camera" contest on a forum I frequent, I shoot 13 formats: Minolta 16 (10x14 mm), Kiev 303 (13x17 mm, not 110 compatible), 35 mm half and full frame, 828, all three standard 127 formats, all three "red window" 120/620 formats, 9x12 cm, and 4x5. Other than 6x7 cm and various panoramics, am I missing anything between 16 mm and 4x5? Well, anything for which I can buy film at reasonable prices, I mean -- I've got a couple 116 and one 124 box cameras; the 116 adapts reasonably well to 120, but 124 I'll have to make if I'm ever to shoot that camera (at least I have two spools).

6x7cm on 120 roll film
6x9cm on 120 roll film
4x5 inch sheet film
8x10 inch sheet film
2 ¾ x 2 7/8 inch image size on Polaroid
Two small digital formats that do not count in this poll or on this forum

Yes, I do use it occasionally - it's nice with a 40mm lens.

No, I don't have to edit my vote, I'm still at over 11 formats: 2 from 35mm, 4 from 120 film, 6 metric LF formats, and the two "small" imperial LF formats.

I would like one of those but I don't see them for sale very often and when I do, they are far too expensive. No different to cropping down a 6x4.5 image really though so I probably will not bother.

lets not forget, those numbers show that those who shoot only 1 size, won't bother to vote, while those who shoot many will vote (the old more is better symdrome). The numbers, therefore, are not indicative of the membership as a whole.
