Although the English name Voight is a variant of the German Vogt or Voigt (a kind of office-holder for a feudal lord or the church, like a magistrate or steward), the company is spelled Voigtländer and pronounced [ˈfoːktlɛndɐ with a hard f-sound like in "fire", a long "o" as in "probe" and a hard "g" like in "give".

I know how to spell it since I search for it on EBay all the time.
How do people with dozens of cameras keep them operational? I only have about 10-12, most are with several lenses. It is a major PITA to remember to exercise lens shutters periodically and have the right types of batteries available.
