Too many!

If the more cameras one owns is a measure of insanity, I'm pretty far gone!

Of course the excuse is that I'm going to fix them up and sell them (really - just as soon as I learn how).
Let's see - 35mm M39 mount:
FED's and Zorki's - 5 (1 broken)
35mm SLR:
Pentax - 4
Other M42 mount - 3
Nikkorex - 6 (2 working)
Nikon F - 3 (2 working)
Nikon autofocus - 9 (4 working)
Topcon leaf shutter mount - over 40 (7 working)
Konica (can I do this in dozens? - most work, a few are basket cases):
T-1 - 1 dz
T-2 - 5 dz
T-3 - 2 dz +
T-4 - 1 dz
TC - 2.5 dz
FC/FP - 1 dz
FS-1 - 3 dz
FT-1 - 2 dz
TC-X - .5 dz
RF point n shoot:
Konica C-35 - 3 dz
Other Konicas - 2 dz

MF (back to each-es):
Kiev 60 - 1
Pentacon six - 4
Kiev 88 - 2
Kiev 88CM - 1

Had, but sold:
Mamiya RB67 - 1
Calumet 4X5 - 1

A camera is a tool. I have no interest in owning more than I need. As I indicated in the other thread, I have one, a 45AII. I do have an Omega 45D, but it has been in storage for years, and I have one 35mm that I use, a Nikon F5 (I have an N80 as a backup).

Here's a humorous pic we did yesterday of some of my main cameras. It was amazing how long my neck held out from the weight, but after 15 minutes I was starting to feel the burn. I'd like to do this shoot outdoors sometime carrying all these and pretending to shoot some pics.

I want to have this shoot redone outside with all these cameras around my neck while shooting something with one of them. Another shot same idea but with a pretty model in the shot posing. I think that would add some humour.

I'm somewhere in the neighborhood of 35 or so... My faves are the Minolta AL, Olympus XA2, Pentax ME, and (boo-hiss) my Nikon D70s. About 15 of them are old box cameras, and most of the rest are 1950s-1960s vintage rangefinders. There might be a few more future faves in there yet to be discovered, as I haven't shot everything that can be shot.

As of yesterday, one more!!

Let's see:

Nikon FG
Nikon F601
Rolleicord V
Flexaret TLR (on loan to a friend)
Fed 4
Bronica ETRS
Olympus XA
Olympus XA2
Argus C3
Home made 5x4"

and the new addition: Mamiya RB67 (although I'm supposed to forget about it until christmas!).

That makes eleven!

There are others but this is the main list of useable equipment.

EDIT

I forgot about these:

Zeiss Ikonta 520/2 6x9
Polaroid 160 converted to 120 roll film 6 x 10 format
Polaroid pack film camera with auto lens front replaced with Zeiss Tessar lens
Polaroid 120 waiting to be converted to 5 x 4"

So fifteen then.

Steve.

Regular using and carrying around in bag and/or pockets all the time
Lomo LC-A
Kiev 35A

Love to play around:
HOLGA

In the drawer for an excentric day out every now and then:

Toys, for fun:
ActionSampler Flash
Supersampler (love the close-ups this one can stand)
Cheap plastic panoramic camera

Polaroid 600
Seagull TLR

I have nowhere near as many as some here, but:

Nikon FM
Nikon FE2
Leica M2
Leica M6
Olympus OM1
Topcon 35L
Olympus Stylus Epic (2)
Canon A540 digital

Although I've been looking into large or medium format lately, I've not yet bitten that bullet. Mostly due to the need for another scanner and upgraded PC to handle the larger files.

Is there something like Magic Bullet Chasers Anonymous (MBCA)? I have to admit to having more gear than talent, so here goes:

Leica M2, M3, M6 TTL (with everthing, including a Summicron DR)
Voigtländer Bessa L (with 15 and 21 mm)
Bronica EC and ECTL (50, 75, 80 and 150 mm)
Polaroid 600 SE (with 6x7 and 6x9 backs, 75, 127 and 150 mm)
Polaroid 104, 250, 320 and 195 packfilm cameras
Polaroid Miniportrait (several)
Polaroid Big Shot
Cambo 4x5/5x7 (just one 240 mm lens, looking for 90 and 150 mm)
Polaroid 900, 110A and 120 rollfilm cameras (waiting to be converted into one 4x5 rangefinder)

For a while, I thought about getting writ of the medium format gear, but at today's prices, I might as well keep it. No use dumping my Bronica gear for two or three hundred $.

Too bloody many. Unfortunately, being a packrat, I can't throw it out if it works, and being a late adopter, I own equipment that you literally can't give away. As far as actual use, I'd say 3.5. F2/C220 for most shooting, backed up by an F or the old pentax M42 (the 0.5) when the environment is too risky (sand, salt, students) for the Nikons.
