I prefer to keep my cameras empty of film until use, especially medium format.
Scratch that, just shot the 110 film over lunch..
...
That's also why my favorite 35 SLR is the KMZ Start: I use receiving cartridge and the camera has a knife, so I can cut, swap films, without darkbag, when I am on the go:

of course one can cut with small scissors, remove the film from the receiving spool and put it in a black cartridge, with any 35mm SLR, but it requires darkbag and some more time.
with Barnack bottom loaders, I use home loaded cartridges of max 18 exposures.
So- I know a lot of you have lots of cameras- how many have film ready to go?
I have 8 bodies I use often and have 4 loaded right now... should probably finish them off- some have been in the camera for nearly a year

F3P loaded with a recently thawed roll of E100G; F2AS (Soverized) loaded (like wise) with a roll of E100VS. PB 01/14 stash of both emulsions now down to: 1) 5 rolls of 35mm E100VS; and 2) 3 rolls of E100G. Cannot believe that my "stash" began in 2012 with almost 700 rolls of the two emulsions. Had COVID not visited us in 2020, my switch-over to E100 would most likely have been done early last spring. "120-wise," I have two A12s loaded with E100G; down to four propacks and three loose rolls. I expect that this run, too, will be finished early fall (120 black and white seems be favored at the moment).
