Hello there!
I think i was a member of APUG many moons ago, but with one thing and another i completely lost my photography mojo...
I had a darkroom, loved taking pictures, did quite a bit of paid work including weddings and a bit of corporate stuff. I then bought a digital Sony Alpha, because it was the done thing, continued to do the weddings and other stuff, but slowly lost interest. I didn't know why but the whole thing became a chore and not enjoyable, so the camera stayed in it's bag and i didn't take pictures for quite a few years. Then late 2022 a friend of mine was organising an exhibition and asked if he could use some of my images, these were on film so I had to dig out my negs and slides. Well, this was a huge turning point! I immediately found myself back interested in photography, it was as if somehow a switch was turned on. I think i didn't fall out with photography, i fell out with digital imaging. Sitting in front of a PC editing pictures isn't for me. I love darkroom work, so I'm back. The Minolta Dynax, Olympus OM2 and various vintage cameras have had film through them, I've rebuilt my darkroom and I'm loving being back!
