Just saying hi. I have been lurking for a few weeks. I have just started getting into developing and making my own prints. I inherited an old medium format pocket folder that I have started to use and it has pretty much forced me to learn how to do everything on my own since I can't just run down the street to a one hour photo. Anyway I bought myself a beseler 23c ii off ebay that I recieved the day before Christmas that I am starting to learn how to print my own photos. Sorry if you get any stupid questions from me. Nice to be here.

I accidently posted this in the color forum but I meant for it to go here.

Welcome to APUG. I hope you enjoy your camera for a long time. There are no stupid questions.

Welcome to our "house". Dont concern your self about asking any questions, BTW the only "stupid" question is the one you DONT ask('cause if ya dont ask it-you could look or do something stupid). Have fun and have a happy and prosperous new year.

Hey welcome to the club. Congrats on the 23C it is a great work horse machine. Congrats on the decision to print as well. IMO - it a'int a picture till it's a print and a real silver BW (or platinum, or...) analog print is about as good as it gets. Just something about a really really nice paper that is hard to beat and impossible to match.

Welcome! Questions are what we're about. Hope you find your creative juices flowing in your darkroom, and be sure to post some of your prints.

Welcome to APUG. You're lucky to have an enlarger that goes up to 6x9. Some enlargers only support up to 6x6 or 6x7, which has always struck me as insane. You're also lucky to have a Beseler; you won't have any trouble finding the stuff you need on eBay.

Don't worry about asking stupid questions. On APUG we don't tell beginners to read the damned FAQ. Someone might post a URL to a previous thread on an issue, but don't take that as a criticism.

Once more, welcome!

Welcome. I have been in APUG since 2006, and I am learning more and more every day from the members of the different forums. I just recommend you to go outside and take as much photography’s as possible. Probably, this is the first secret to improve your capacity to create good images.

Hello and welcome to PAUG from western Massachusetts.
