Hallo everyone,

my name's Mauro and I'm a young foreign languages student from Italy. I've been involved in photography as an amateur almost since childhood, that is since I learnt how to use my dad's Yashica FX-D quartz! I never gave up film, and have now settled on a used Minolta 9xi with AF 50 mm 1,7 lens. I'm more than happy with my equipment, and am now focusing more and more on taking photos which are "significant" and thought-out. I very much look forward to learning as much as I can from this beautiful forum; more so given that I've started to seriously use BW film and I'm almost ready to set up my own darkroom.
