I just want to fulfill a wish by some forum members and a moderator:
Here is the list of current repackaged (rebranded) Agfa Aviphot Pan 80 and 200 films and Kentmere 100 and 400 films:

Agfa Aviphot Pan 80:
Repackaged as Rollei Retro 80s and Rollei RPX 25.

Agfa Aviphot Pan 200:
Repackaged as Rollei Superpan 200, Rollei Retro 400s, Rollei Infrared 400, Silberra Pan 160 / Ultima 160, Silberra Pan 100 / Ultima 100, CatLabs 320 Pro and JCH Street Pan.

Kentmere 100 and 400:
Repackaged as AgfaPhoto APX 100 and 400, Rollei RPX 100 and 400, Fotoimpex CHM 100 and 400 (discontinued), Oriental 100 and 400.

Proven by countless experienced photographers who have tested these films in direct comparison (me included), and partly by the companies themselves (e.g Fotoimpex has been honest about their CHM films).

Do you have any of the actual test data that you've collected that you can post? I don't intent to doubt or say any of this isn't true, but the internet tends to be full of people who say things as if it's gospel without ever actually backing it up with actual data, so it's generally best to post what actual data has been collected along with how it was collected so others can look at it. Again, I'm not saying that's what you're doing here, and I realize you have good intentions, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see some actual curves.

Of course! No problem.
But I am currently on a travel, not at home (where I have my test results). As soon as I am back, I will put the collected results together in a spreadsheet and post here.

Do you get many rolls of those films in your processing lab? When you do get in one of those rolls of film, how do you process it?

On Friday I used my first roll of Rollei Superpan 200 in my Horseman VH, bought in place of Rollei IR 400 that I had been using successfully until recently. It felt very thin when winding-on, and did not trigger the frame-counting mechanism properly in the Horseman 120 film back. Now, the last stocks of IR 400 that I had were well out of date, from May 2013. Was the change in film or backing paper thickness something that also came in with the IR 400 material post-2013 , or not ?

Has anyone any idea where Astrum/Svema films come from? Are they too Aviphot?

I have used Superpan 200 in my Horseman backs for years. Never noticed a problem. Will have to look into it.

thought they might be, but they are not. The emulsion is clearly different, nice blue instead of grey/brown. My guess is that they have some old rolls of Tasma stock.

Here’s an image showing the difference:

IIRC in 135 that isn't the case, though - very similar, down to AH layer colors.

I am very very sorry for the delay! But when I came back from that travel a family member got extremely ill for months, and I had to care. My photography and all other similar activities had to be stopped.
That horrible situation has fortunately changed now, and I can start again with photography.

So back to topic:
Here just as one example the values for Agfa Aviphot Pan 200 = Rollei Superpan 200 = Rollei Retro 400S = Rollei Infrared = Silberra Pan 160 / Ultima 160 = Silberra Pan 100 / Ultima 100 = CatLabs 320 Pro and = JCH Street Pan.

I exposed all films completely identically with my F5 for a characteristic curve / HD curve test (at EI 40/17° for improved shadow detail). And developed them in the same tank with Ilford DD-X 1+4 with Ilford agitation of 10s per minute.
Measured with a Heiland TRD-2 densitometer. The logD values are:
Zone I: 0.07
Zone II: 0.22
Zone III: 0.42
Zone IV: 0.64
Zone V: 0.74
Zone VI: 0.94
Zone VII: 1.09
Zone VIII: 1.16
Zone IX: 1.22
Zone X: 1.27

The differences between the films have all been tiny and in the range of normal measuring / meterering variance. The Heiland densitometer has a variance of only 0.01 logD (one of the most precise densitometers in the market). And then you have tiny differences by the shutter (only really very slight as the F5 shutter has self-diagnostic and calibrating and is extremely precise).
So in total the variances between the films are only in the 0.01-0.02 range, which is not visible in the final picture at all. The curves are identical , sharpness/resolution and fineness of grain are identical, spectral sensitivity is identical = the films are identical.

Thank you for your detailed post and I am glad your family member has recovered and is now better.

Thanks, @Film-Niko.
Also, Henning Serger obtained a resolution of 90-105 lppm for this film at EI=40 and contrast 4:1 :

This was really a revelation for me, haha. I have only really used Rollei IR, but it is interesting to note that it is available for less in other packaging. Is Aviphot 200 available in 4x5 and/or 8x10 in any other film other than Rollei IR? I have not really found others in sheets... Honestly, not really my favorite film to use in comparison to Kodak, Fuji and Ilford, but it is the only IR sensitive film around for sheets, it appears...

If you had a chance to test it, how did the Svema 120 film turn out?

Yeah, buy Adox CMS 20 II Pro instead

Thanks. There had been a rumor that JCH Street Pan 400 was old stock Aviphot 400.

Thanks. There had been a rumor that JCH Street Pan 400 was old stock Aviphot 400.

It is not a rumor, it is indeed a fact.
When this repackaged stuff was introduced to the market in 2016, it was indeed old, expired leftover stock of long discontinued Aviphot Pan 400. Last coating run of Aviphot Pan 400 at Agfa in Mortsel was already in 2008.

This expired film rests were already detoriated (probably of bad storage at the source bought) and had very high base fog and reduced film speed.
Experienced long-term users of Aviphot Pan 400 (e.g. aerial photographers and traffic surveillance film experts like SPUR in Germany; and film enthusiasts like me and lots of others here on photrio and other film forums, especially in Europe, and facebook photo groups) immediately realized after detailed film tests of Street Pan 400 what this film really was originally.
And those who reported their test results publicly were massively attacked and bashed by Bellamy Hunt for telling the truth.
Because Hunt has told to his customers the marketing fairy tale that the film was "freshly produced" and "exclusively for him", and has "never been on the market". All that nonsense to fool his customers and to hide the scam that it was just old, discontinued, expired film offered at insane high price.
And when this first leftover stock was sold, he just switched to Aviphot Pan 200. Of course without any information to his customers. And with the same ridiculous high price (much higher than all other Aviphot Pan 200 repackaged offerings).

RPX25 was a lot of things.

No, it has always been repackaged Aviphot Pan 80. You are probably confusing it with some other Maco offerings with same official box speed and naming. For example there has been an ISO 25 panchromatic film offered by them for some time. That was an old emulsion made by Filmotec, but Filmotec stopped production.
There had also been the Filmotec made Ortho 25 offered by Maco, but that was also stopped. The current Ortho 25 Plus offered by Maco is a completely different film with almost two stops more speed, and has absolutely nothing to do with the former film. But Maco has not updated the data sheet, so the old data sheet is completey useless for the current film!
But that is absolutely typical for Maco: They are not interested at all in proper customer information, only in selling film.

That depends on when your always begins.
When it came out (around 2012 it was?) the entire series was another film.

No, it was not.
Only the 400 version was at first a bit different. But that could have also been because of batch-to-batch differences.
Budget films (and films offered for rebranding) have higher batch-to-batch differences, one of the reasons why they are cheaper for the end consumer, and why it is possible for a rebranding company to use them for rebranding (still affordable buying price is needed for the mark-up).

So when Aviphot 200 stock is used up, no more Rollei Superpan 200, Rollei Retro 400s, Rollei Infrared 400, Silberra Pan 160 / Ultima 160, Silberra Pan 100 / Ultima 100, CatLabs 320 Pro and JCH Street Pan? 😨

Yup, the late-stage capitalism then goes kaput a bit

Generally that is correct.
But as member Miha has correctly written, Agfa Aviphot Pan 200 is currently officially listed as a product in production.
Of course nobody knows for how long that will remain.
At least in the past Agfa had announced when a product will be dicscontinued (e.g. they did it with Aviphot Pan 400).

That is why I posed it as a question, not a statement. If what you say is true, then that is good news. Thank you.

I don't know for sure either, I imagine it's current. But since you mentioned the stock that is going to be used up, I thought I should ask you what makes you believe that.
