Marcelo,

This film’s base thickness is 4 mils (thousandths of an inch), while large format base thickness is 7 mils.

Do you have any problems with film flatness?

Sorry was away on a work related trip. No issues at all. Just make sure sheet had been cut correctly. Once I cut it a few millimeter wider and although it went into the hold, it was curved so photos came out of focus on the edge.

Also, developed film are quite flat so no issues when contact printing/enlarging/scanning.

About the 0.06mm, like it was said before, is good for roll film. My Aviphot 40 is this (P0) and is quite good for 120, although should be handled with care. since it very prone to bending/kink which leave marks on the film. Can't honestly think about using 0.06mm film on large format. Would be very hard to handle without damaging.

Best regards.

Marcelo

Not exactly sure where else to put this, but I did an experiment stripping the antihal off Aviphot 200 to see what would happen, and although it can be done, I honestly don’t see any halation whatsoever…

Thanks for the reply, no problem with the small delay.

Now I just need a source for this film. There are some on eBay, but I didn’t look thoroughly enough.

Aviphot 200 is all that’s left on eBay. One listing for 70mm, mostly 9.5” rolls. Be aware, there are multiple sellers if this film! The seller I got my rolls from seems to have gotten rolls stored much better than the other sellers. I have noticed little to no mottling on any of my film.

At the moment, it looks like Vyanworld is the one with most of what is left, and they are not the seller I bought any of my film from. I have not had any experience with their film, however from my understanding, their stock may have major heat damage. Supposedly it gets better after you get deeper into the roll, but again, I have no experience with this.
