Hello from North East England

Hi, my name is Mike, I'm from north east England, recieved my first camera in the mid 1970's, I mainly shoot 35mm RF, current cameras in my stable are leica IIIF RDDA, Contax G1, Voigtlander Bessa L, Zorki 4K, Olympus 35 RC, Rollei 35, Rollei 35S, to name but a few. Lens wise, Zeiss 45/2 Planar, Skopar 25/4 snapshot, Leitz 5cm f2 Summarit, Jupiter 8. I also have a Pentax DSLR which I use for quick family shots and a host of other point and shoots. I come from a strong fishing background, I shoot a lot of fishing boats and associated fishing stuf. Thats about it really

Greetings Mike,
I'm a lover of RF myself, you have the camera I learned on. My father has a red dial IIIf and it was the apple of my eye as I grew up. I get out and shoot my RF when ever possible and I love the 6x6 format too.

Hope to be in England and Scotland in the summer of 2011. Maybe we can connect.

I have had two IIIF with Summitar. I think Summarit is non radiation version of Summitar. Did you notice that new 35000 dollars Leica S2 uses Summarit designs ?
