Just joined the forum and acquired my first medium format - 1954 Zeiss Ikonta II. Hope to learn and share.

Well, let me be the first to welcome you to APUG. You are sure to learn a lot, most notably that you are not alone as a film user in the 21st Century.

Cheers,

Welcome to APUG.

Could you pop over the river and teach those western New Yorkers what snow tires look like and how to drive in the snow? They are really a hopeless bunch! They get on I-90 and just slide into each other. <<sigh>>

I hope you enjoy the site.

Edouard - hello and welcome to APUG from western Massachusetts.

Another inmate means less film for the rest of us *^) Gotta get back to the snow shovel. Welcome!

Another hello from the west end of the GTA.
Glad you found this place.

Just curious - is The Falls your home town or a recent place to live?
It can be such an artificial place at spots I always like to hear the perspective of someone who lives there what they think of the place.

Welcome to APUG, Edouard. That's a great camera. Hope you have lots of fun with it.

Welcome to APUGland!

Welcome to APUG from Texas

Mike Wilde - Niagara Falls has been home for nearly 20 years. What brought us to the falls was the housing market, we needed a 5 bedroom house (4 sons) and moving there from Hamilton only added 15 minutes to my daily commute (from where we were living in Hamilton). Like anyplace, it has it's good and not so good points.

Please to hear you like the Falls. It has seen a lot of industires decline since the 70's, but then again so has the Hammer.

I have friends who have lived Welland (north side), Toronto (west end ), Welland (west side), now Niagara Falls near the QEW and Thorold Stone. He's a home renovator, she a legal secretary. They went to the Falls when she started working for the Region. It seems like there is no fear to range all over Niagara in terms of the things they get out to do.
