I'm new to the forums, so:

"Hello!"

I like film. I enjoy it. I have memories way back when I was a kid when 110 film was scarce, and expensive (we were poor/broke most of the time) but later on when I was older and things improved I gained my first "exposure" (pun intended) to 35mm film.

Once upon a time I took a class in college and developed my own AGFA film and printed my own film on Ilford stock. Now, most of the specifics are forgotton (which chemical was the stop? When do you run the bath? etc) but I do still love 35mm film. I only wish I were better at taking pictures!

:whistling:

I use a Canon AE-1 Program that I've had for 13-14 years give or take. I've accumulated a trio of lenses for it, a camera bag, and I have grown attached to it. I take it on trips, vacations, and whatnot. The rest of my family has it all covered on digital. Those pics will rarely ever see the light of day. The photographs I take MUST be printed for a good "pass them around" session where we can remember the finer details of our trip(s).

Well, I hope you all share the same love/interest in 35mm film that I do. I've just found this webpage today while looking for something else entirely on Google (ahhh... google... such a fickle beast) and I was impressed. I signed up.

Welcome to APUG! I can't remember how I first came across this site (in all likelihood, part of a google search) but I'm so glad I did -- lots of friendly people, good advice, and a nice place to hang out. I'm sure you'll like it here. ;-)

Markster - hello and welcome to APUG from western Massachusetts.

Hello from a former Denverite. There are lots of folks in the Denver area if you are interested in meeting someone in person. They seem to meet up on a fairly regular basis.

Welcome!

Paul

Thanks, all!
