Hi!

I'm Dave, and I'm 24 years old.

I've been shooting digital for the last 5 or so years, first with a 350D before trading it for a 400D. Now I've moved onto film, which started with a Hasselblad 500 C/M before moving into toy cameras such as the Diana and recently the Diana Mini.

I'm not at the stage of developing my own black and white rolls yet, but I hope to start doing that soon.

So hi!

Dave - hello and welcome to APUG from western Massachusetts USA.

Hi Dave. Enjoy the journey - it is even more fun when you start processing your own films.

G'day Dave from not-so-distant Geelong,
Yep, film is the way to go, irrespective of B&W, colour or whatever else you can dream up.

EDIT: Marc: why is your avatar a picture of a brain in a fishbowl? :surprised:

Greetings and welcome to the forums.
Processing and printing your own films, especially Black and White, is a great past-time.
The Melbourne Camera Club ,in South Melbourne , has a "Traditional Darkroom Printmakers Group " ,meeting monthly in our own darkroom. ( www.melbournephoto.org.net ) I am from Melbourne also, there are plenty of us around. ... Cheers Barrie B.
