As per usual I'm doing this backwards and introducing myself after I already made some posts.
Anyway, I am from Finland, born 1961, married, divorced, father of 3 grown up children. Engaged. Working in IT.
Learned photography and BW developing in the 70:s. Was never VERY good at it. Continued to develope on and off during the 80:s.
Camerawise I had always been a Nikon man.
In the early 00:s I had not been active with photography for many years. In 2005 I sold my Nikon + lenses and bought a DSLR. This really rekindled my interest in the art. It was so fricking easy!
Today I still use my Nikon DSLR for weddings I do in the summer and for things that need to be done quickly.
You can blame Ken Rockwell for me going back to analog. He and his RealRaw!!
I bought a Seagull and found that the need to slow down and think suited me much better than the DSLR approach of taking 200 pictures and discard 90% (I am VERY critical of my own pictures). After I found out that I liked TLR, analog photo and 6x6 I looked for a Rolleicord and found one from a dealer in Sweden. Was in good condition but on arrival I found some issues with the shutter so I reurned for a warranty-service. I hope to get it back next week.
So, I will quit my rambling now by saying that I really like this community. Seems like a lot of information can be found here.
