hello everyone,
photography has been a hobby of mine for about 4 years now. i started with shooting film with an old Nikon Fe2 SLR that belonged to my mom. soon, i decided that i wanted to move up to digital but after spending time with a DSLR i felt like something wasnt quite right. After visiting a Rodney Lough Jr. gallery in sanfransisco, i decided to give large format a try. I purchased a 4x5 kit on ebay with a omega 45d camera and rodenstock geronar 150mm lens. i have fallen in love with the quality of image produced by the large camera. i shoot predominately fuji slide film but have also done some B+W. I am in the process of building an 8x10 field camera and can not wait to start shooting with it. I am a student at college in florida but i spend summer and breaks at home in the chicago land area. unfortunately, i was unable to bring my Large format equipment to school with me. im already looking forward to returning home so i can use it again.
