Ah sorry forgot this is an international forum the Black Country is an area of the West Midlands of England near to but definately not part of Birmingham. It was an area that was at the heart of the Industrial Revolution with mines and steelworks which is how it got its name

Now watch out for the condition known as G.A.S. If you lusted after film gear in the past, and now it goes past you selling for a song, or just plain being thrown out, and you can resist it's lure you are safe. Most of us are more at risk, and get a scolding from our mates with each bit of old gear we drag home.

Welcome back to film. Great to have you :D Do you shoot more color or black and white?

Wilkomen -- I'm not German, i just thought it'd be different to use it. Anyway, welcome back to the tangible world.

Yes, welcome back to film. I went through a two year phase of using digital only but eventually saw the light and returned. I didn't sell any of my film gear - fortunately - but even so, I feel so dirty now...
