Nothing is happening here. Still no color film from Ferrania and there will not be one before the next ice age. Move on and read the other threads.
Maybe you can lead by example. Bye!Nothing is happening here. Still no color film from Ferrania and there will not be one before the next ice age. Move on and read the other threads.

Oh what a lovely response ... two thumbs up, could be taken either with irony, ... in both a positive or negative way., depending on your view and perceptions. That sounds almost optimistic ...
I would expect that Kodak thought that they had technology sufficiently different from Polaroid that they were not infringing. Where the Courts were concluding that Two camera that Both spit out Card that changes into a picture were much the same thing.IDK if it was a faux pas. Sorry.

But of course by now, both the Polaroid Patent (and the Original Poloroid company) have both Expired. Patents are Probably an overall Drag on technology these days. (used more to stop things that to move things forward.)Well, the only instant product on the market today is made by Fuji, and it uses the Kodak chemistry for imaging. That was "sold" to Fuji at the end of the court case IIRC.

I can go to my nearby 'big box' store and buy Fuji Instax cameras and film. I CAN'T do that for Polaroid.polaroid originals are not made by fuji
it doesn't mean that polaroid originals are not on the market. I could buy them off the shelves at many shops where I live or just order them onlineI can go to my nearby 'big box' store and buy Fuji Instax cameras and film. I CAN'T do that for Polaroid.
I bought my last box at Best Buy. Barnes & Noble had it stocked too.I can go to my nearby 'big box' store and buy Fuji Instax cameras and film. I CAN'T do that for Polaroid.
that sounds more accurate although I read somewhere that new batches of polaroid originals are much better quality than they used to beThe only quality instant color is Fuji, based on a Kodak original method.

I'll be darned. The last time I looked, all they had was a Polaroid branded inkjet based system.I bought my last box at Best Buy. Barnes & Noble had it stocked too.
The latest stuff is by far the best, but still not quite there. At least for me. But I like the SX-70 too much to give up on it (for now).that sounds more accurate although I read somewhere that new batches of polaroid originals are much better quality than they used to be

This is a long thread for something that will never happen. It is even longer than the delete thread which was about 3500.

It has already happened. Product has been produced and is in the hands of consumers, testing, refinements, fun. And when the facilities are up to snuff there will be longer term production, we are told. No problems here, the wait is fine and the film is excellent. Shine your beam of negativity elsewhere, killjoy.
