We're almost half way through 2016 and we don't know what other hurdles they may have to overcome.
I don't think we'll see film from them until 2017 and that's fine.
Yes thats correct.Uh.... Last update said it was weeks and not months until they start coating film.
Yes i imagine they are busy, so no news updates yet.

Everyone understands that. All we're asking for is an update. We were told that we were weeks away from progress and that was a month or more ago.Yes, and as complicated as it is, how many times will they have to try before they get a product of commercial quality?
They have been months without contact before in the past, i would not be too worried, but yes, im looking forward to their next update!Yes but what we are saying is that silence is a great morale killer for us waiting. A small update of a couple lines can do wonders for this.
The chemistry is the only barrier I can personally see, because they are working with old stock that needs purifying and they may have run short.Well, all they have really talked about is the coating equipment but little about chemical supply and mixing facilities. I wonder if they left them to last and have run into a small delay. OTOH, they may have had a great coating run, are testing it fully and are getting ready to "lay it on us"!
So many many possibilities!

Last year, i can count well more than a month between updates, especially round the time of the asbestos removal etc. They never said that there are only weeks not months away before. And that was a month ago.
Last year Ferannia didn't say they were weeks away from production. How are you not understanding this???Last year, i can count well more than a month between updates, especially round the time of the asbestos removal etc.
How are you not understanding me??? You are on a totally different wavelength!Last year Ferannia didn't say they were weeks away from production. How are you not understanding this???

I never responded to you, you infact quoted my reply to twelvetone12.YOU were responding to ME and it was *I* who was talking about the most RECENT update.
PE, I'm curious, how many rolls came out per day when Kodak was coating 24/7?Based on actual experience, I can see quite a few more than stated.
