Hasselblad srvice closest to Ukraine (Europe)

I own my Hasselblad 500 C/M for several years and it works great without no complaints. But I wish to send it somewhere for service maintenance. I'm living in Ukraine (Eastern Europe). Can you advice firm or single craftsman closest to Ukraine where I could send my camera for service?

Thank you. As I remember I was contacting them some times ago. And they replied to me with advice to ask an Hasselblad manufacturer for service questions.
And if my memory does not lie to me Hasselblad answered that 500 series is no longer available for official service maintenance.

I think Hasselblad still services them in their Sweden service centre. I can't help you with anyone closer but www.classicv.co.uk in the UK will service all V cameras (I had a few cameras, lenses and backs serviced/repaired there). Also ApertureUK in London will service them too.

I suppose if you have to send the camera somewhere within the EU it doesn't matter much if it goes to Germany, the UK or Sweden, most postal services will charge you the same to send in the EU and it will take the same amount of time.

Just make sure all the paperwork is ok so you don't end up getting charged import duties when the camera is on its way back to you!

I looked at the Hasselblad website this morning and it seemed to me they excluded all their classic cameras.

Which I find very weird seen the iconic status Hasselblad has built around them. Even if certain parts would be lacking they nevertheless could accept them for servicing or even repair as far as they can get.

It's probably because Sony doesn't make parts for them and they've just run out of diamond-encrusted wooden grips...

Whatever you do you will have to ship or post the camera to a repair station. So you may as well send it to Wilco Jansen in Holland. First class service, years of experience, stocks most parts, reasonable prices.... highly recommended.

I have had a call to Rent One now and they are not making any kind of service. They are just renting company! All necessary service works they order somewhere in Germany.

Too bad sorry to hear that. The Polish guy should be able to help you though and he is most likely a lot cheaper than a German repair person.

please keep us posted. I live in Ukraine and sometimes I'm thinking about obtaining one of the good old Hasselblad cameras. But the possible problems with repair is what holds me from buying it.
