Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a Hasselblad 500cm with 80mm Planar T* lens. I find the information on these lenses a little unclear. I bought a step-up (60-67) so that I could use my existing filters, but the ring does not fit. It's meant to be a Hasselblad B60 fitting.

I find all the C/CF/CFE/CFI/CF* information a little confusing.

Can anyone help me clarify which lens I have and what filters/step-up ring mount it has?

Many thanks.

I have this lens...

it looks like 80mm f2.8 C Planar, if you can see red letter "T*" on the black ring around the front element, it has T* multicoating. You can use B50 (Bay 50) filters.

Thank you for the reply. It is indeed a T* lens. Does that make it a CFT?

Yes, you need the B50-67 conversion ring, not the B60. The older Hasselblad lenses took a smaller filter size.
