One of the reasons that people come to APUG is to have their photographic desires enabled. So we here at APUG will encourage you to buy it. The 100mm lens is a very sharp flat field lens that was developed for NASA as a low distortion lens for the Lunar landing. You have been earning money to support yourself and others. That means that you have been working to buy others things that they wanted or thought that they needed. Now is your time so go buy the camera and lens.

Temptation's rusty rack strikes again! If that photo is the actual unit, that doesn't seem like a particularly high price. That lens has so much good written about it. I believe Sirius recently got one. My little indescretion was a humble XA from member Binglebugbog. 'Should be fun. Is this a first 'blad? If so, you'll prob. thank yourself for getting it.
Hah! good timing. 'Was hoping Sirius would weigh in.

About a year and a half ago I sold an all black mint - condition Hasselblad 500c/m with 80mm lens on ebay for just almost $1,000 U.S. plus shipping. It did have a nice strap with it.

A 100mm is worth more than an 80mm. Plus you get a hood.

Just to give you an idea.

That's a good combination for the price - if you buy it, you won't be disappointed.

The Zeiss 100/3.5 for the Hasselblad is outstanding.

The price sounds reasonable and the camera looks like it is in very nice shape.

I would never sell my SL66 for a Hasselblad. Having both is nice though ;-)
