So I just purchased and I am still waiting for it to arrive a 503 cxi with a 50 mm t lens. Come to find out that there are a couple different 50 mm lenses and they take a different filter adapter . Yes this is my a first Hasselblad lol. I will be shooting many long exposures with black and white film and many landscapes so graduated filters and others for it will be handy to have and I need to learn how to distinguish what lens I have so I can order the right filters and adapter. Can anyone help me. Here is a phot of it if that helps.

If the lenses is a CF or CFi then the lens will need a B60 filter which will fit all most all the CF and later lenses. Therefore one set of filters will work for almost all the CF and later lenses. Not 60mm. Not 50mm.

The older C lenses need B50 filters. Not 50mm.

Greetings from a few hrs south. Since you've shot the 'blad, you know you're gonna love it. That 50mm lens rides on mine more than any lens. Mine's a humble 'C' & I love it. 'Look forward to seeing images from it. 'Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

If you have a copy of the ad I may be able to tell. If that is a photograph of the camera and lens, I would say that it is a CF, CFi lens since the approximate date of that serial number is 1984. Otherwise wait until you receive the camera and lens and that would be inscribed on the side of the lens.

Hi Terry,

If that is your camera and lens in the picture you posted, then it's a CF lens and Bay 60 (B60) is what you'll need.

Have fun.
