Heard you the first time, there.

I think it's downright silly to not comment just because they say they're going to say more later. When they do, we can address those comments. Until then, we can talk about what we do know. If you don't want to, don't.

The whole discussion on this thread revolves around a "stamp" which us Americans tend to call a "sticker".

As we do in Britain too. A stamp is what you put on an envelope to post a letter.

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware of the market research that had been done.

That must also apply to the 250 sheet box as well.

With Respect,

-Josh

Dear Josh...

Nice one..... as an FYI it has, in a commercial environment about 1 in 10 sheets, as a percentage of sheets bought worldwide that are eventually sold, much, much lower.

We would like that to increase, hence the stamps.

I think the information is much better worded now.

I respectfully dare suggesting Ilford to predispose a "certificate" in PDF to be downloaded, printed and to be signed by the photographer. Photographers tend to be quite visually oriented and "linguistically challenged".

A nicely combed piece of paper, with a general test certifing that the high-permanence procedure was followed and that the paper is actually Ilford ZZZ type, with the place for the Ilford sticker, the rubber stamp and the signature of the photographer, and a hand-written description of the subject (maybe with serial number for prints to be made in a limited series) would probably help the photographer and encourage the use of the sticker, besides promoting Ilford material as the material of those who take their photography seriously.

I find the stamps to be a cool idea but somehow started wondering: Why is there no printing on the back of Ilford papers like it is the case with Fuji and Kodak RA4 Paper?

Customers don't want printing on the back of a paper.
