How big of a hard case will I need for a 4x5 field camera?
Shen Hao - TZ45-iiB
3 lenses (90mm linof angelon, 135mm and 180mm)
Sekonic 758D lightmeter
Film Holders: 6x
Horseman 6x9 120 back
Fuji 4x loupe
knick knacks:
- ND grad and holders
- Coloured filter wallet
- Darkcloth
- hood
- butter fly clips and gaffer tape.
- ziplock bags
Secondary Equipment:
Box of Film + changing bag
polaroid back + 2 boxes of film
note: tripod is a Benro 297 with a Manfrotto 410 Head.
This is a rather large tripod that is carried in a sling over my shoulder.
My initial calculations suggest that the airline sizes might be enough (although very tight and will not be enough for secondary equipment. One of the sales rep suggested I 'needed' the super large lightstands and monolight sizes Pelican 1740. Which seemed really really big.
I wanted to see if anyone here had experiences with hard cases and can recommend a hardcase solution for me.
Thank you
