A big hello to all of the forum members, my name is Shawn and I have recently moved to Virginia from Tampa. I played with film photography in high school and here, ten years later, I am trying to get back into it. I currently use a Canon EOS 50. I have a link at the bottom to my album on flicker. Thanks for all the replies, I am actually in Martinsville, VA. I'm not quite sure where the next major city is from here. My wife's family lives here but I am still trying to get my bearings.

It seems I'm the opposite of Russ, grew up in Virgina (Petersburg, Blacksburg-Go Hokies, Crewe, Tazewell) but now live in New Mexico by way of Ft. Myers FL. I will agree with Russ that Virginia is a better place to live than New Mexico.
