Felt I should introduce my self to this wonderful forum. I am Justin and I have been shooting for a few years now. Mostly digital, but I am getting more and more into film. Right now in my possession are a Canon FTb from '71 or '72 (no plastic tip cover on the film advance); Canon Canonet QL17 (my newest acquisition); a Mamiya C33 TLR, I love shooting with this camera. I also have access to a couple of old Graflex cameras, 4x5 and 4 1/4 x 3 1/4. The bellows on those cameras seem to be completely stuck together and the 4x5 needs a bit of brightening on top of that.

I'm looking forward to fully exploring this forum. I just find it funny that almost all of the cameras I have access to are older than me.

That's quite a collection. I have a Canonet QL17 as well. Beautiful little piece of equipment. One of my favorite cameras. I also own a Crown Graphic 4x5.

I hope you enjoy your time here. It may be a little bit less hectic than you are used to - both digital-wise and Southern California.* But that's a good thing.

Yes it surely is, but sadly I technically don't own but the two canons lol. I got great deals on both of them too. I have a little under fifty dollars invested in both of them

Does any one possibly have suggestions on where I can get the graflex cameras restored at?

Welcome to APUG!

I only have two 4"x5" cameras: 1953 Pacemaker Speed Graphic with 90mm and 135mm lenses and a 1928 Graflex Model D with a 15" [190.5mm] lens.

For Graflex restoration visit www.graflex.org. Bert Saunders is a retired Graflex and Graphic repairman had he can guide you through the restoration. At APUG contact Jon Koss for guidance and if needed you can ship the cameras to him for work. I have worked with both of them. I bought my cameras from Bert and Jon checked out a previous Graflex I bought and based on what he said both Jon and Bert strongly recommended that I return that camera which had become a cosmetically beautiful shelf queen. I returned that camera.
