I am a new convert to film. I have a complete digital set up but film was calling out to me. I use my digital gear to take product shots of the violins I make so I can easily send the to my customers.
I am going to try my hand at processing my own film as well.

Hooray! We love converts to the dark side! Welcome from Texas!

Hello from Richmond Va. I do like to use a darkroom, but one day I'll get me a digital camera(Maybe!).

Welcome to APUG! It's a great place to learn and be inspired.

Welcome to APUG from western Massachusetts. APUG is a great resource for those just starting out in film.

Well, I for one can't wait to see a picture of those violins! What a grand process that must be! Do you have a website?

Welcome to APUG! We are here to serve!

Welcome to the wonderful world of film. If you have the patience to make a violin, you'll love the art of shooting and processing film. You live in such a photogenic area too! I have a sister that lives in Athens and whenever I visit her I always spend at least a day shooting in Monroe. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your first shots, get to it!

Thanks for the welcome! I do have a website, just Google Dudley Violins. You can see my violin photos. I have to tell you they were all made with a Nikon digital camera. Soon I hope to have some of my F100 shots post there too!

On eBay I have bought film processing equipment, chemicals, trays, and an enlarger with a Schneider f/1.9 50mm lens all for less than $100.00! I figure even if I find out I would rather send my film out to a lab, I can re-coup my giant investment!!!

Welcome from Ontario Canada. As Tori said the patience to build a violin will definitely help you in processing film and do your printing in the darkroom. cheers

Welcome to the forum. We'll help you to fiddle with film. Get it?!? FIDDLE?!?!? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

WHEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Yeah, I know. Sometimes I just kill myself.

Hello... good to see someone else from Georgia with darkroom and violin interests! I am new to this forum too but have been active in large format for nearly fifty years. Your violins are beautiful and certainly deserve capturing on film!
