Yeah his channel is cool. He doesn't say what development regimes he used here though. The poor shadow detail he achieved with Pyrocat-HD makes me think he didn't develop long enough.

He's a hardcore wet plate collodion shooter too. I was surprised that he did such a deep dive into traditional film and developers. I think poor shadow detail comes from underexposure. But I appreciate his work. I've been a long time user of HC-110 and just started to use Rodinol. I tried Pyrocat HD and didn't get great results. As for film developers, there are no right and wrongs. It's just what one likes.

Great guy! I took a two-day Carbon print workshop last year with him. Best spent money on photography in 25 years.
