I have and use several Graphmatics and their Fuji Quick Changer 45 equivalents. Fuji's are pretty much an exact and much newer copy. I found 3 of them at a New York City camera show and sale 20 years ago and have seen none since. Yes these all fit my Toyo field camera fine.

My Graphmatics are old and needed work. There was a felt light seal strip in there that shed little curved hairs onto the negs. I ripped open an old 2 sided std holder and took out it's seal strip which was like velvet cloth. That worked to replace the old felt strip. One of the little number wheels was loose from it's magnet base. Super glue fixed it.

If you have old Graphmatics I suggest a complete teardown, cleaning and repair before ruining film with light leaks. It's not hard. No manual is needed. Just don't lose any of the special screws.

Graphmatics were made for Speed Graphic cameras which had wide use in sports and action photog -- like car racing. With a Graphmatic in place you could use the wire sports finder to frame and bang off 6 shots in quick sucession. I've done that shooting fast changing clouds with Toyo on tripod when even a 2 or 3 second delay to flip a 2 sided holder is too slow to catch a moving scenario.

Otherwise these are fun to use but not essential. The negative numbering is sure helpful in identifying exact image in series. But I've notch coded all my std 2 side holders so negs are automatically numbered anyway.

You must have the newer Toyo Field camera since these Fuji holders look nearly the same as the Grafmatic. There are about 12 of these on eBay right now and if I see things right I'd say these will not work with my older Toyo spring-back either. Of course that's just a guess since I've never tried it.

Sorry, there are variations here I know nothing about. Guess I got lucky.

The advantage of the Fuji Quick Changers I have is they are a lot newer than my old Graphmatics which I had to fix and they have more wheels you can use to identify the particular holder along with the sheet number. Really nice to easily find the exact sheet matching your field notes when you're making small changes in exposure or filtration as when trying a new film and the duplicate exposures are almost Identical. Might be worth getting/modifying a spring back that accepts these if this Is important to you.

Otherwise might as well just carry 3 double sheet holders, hopefully edge notch coded providing sheet numbering. And edge notches do not intrude into image area like the Graphmatic type holders!
Good luck.

Todd,
I just thought it would be nice and make it easier for travel/backpacking if I could use Grafmatics. I'm perfectly fine with conventional 4X5 holders since that's all I have ever used anyway. Yes, I could modify the spring-back I have and just might do that someday, but for now I'll just use the two-sided 4X5 holders. I appreciate your help and the tips about the Fuji holders. According to the asking price on eBay for the Fuji's I assume they must be much better.
