Nice idea.
But a piece of cardboard written on with a pen would do also. Moreover, you can indicate a EI different from the ISO value.

Handy, yet this combined with AGX's idea would have been even better (would require custom field within image to set this up to one's liking).

Hello, done, you have an A option for whole thumb, and a B option adding a blank transparent zone where you can be able to write some short notes.

Me too, except that I usually forget. If I'm testing out a new lens/film/camera, then I carry a piece of paper and a pen. Jotting down EI, type of filter (if any), and occasionally the type of lighting helps a lot later on. At least, I like to think that it does. When I've forgotten to do this, it was pretty easy to figure it out, and really, on a test roll all I care about is IQ and camera functionality. There probably aren't going to be any keepers to print.

Thanks Denis, that will be useful. I often shoot film from bulk rolls so I don’t have those but many of my cameras don’t have the slot for them. What I usually do is label my rolls with masking tape, one on the cassette and one on the film can. When I put the film in a camera I take the label off the film can and put it on the bottom of the camera. I always leave the label on the cassette, don’t want to loose track of what’s in it after I remove it from the camera.
