For some reason I cannot create a new thread. I've been trying to post a new question in the 35mm equipment group and the only response I get is "internal server error". It directs me to email webmaster@apug.org, but that address bounces.

I tried the unprecedented step of also trying this from my pc at work - same result.

Two days ago I was getting the same message when I wanted to add a post to an existing thread. The next day I had the same problem and then the problem stopped.

Still getting the error. I logged out, cleared all my cookies, cache, etc., logged back in and still have the problem.

EDIT: just tried different browsers with the same result.

does the post have anything in it such as BBcode, images or other items. Can you try a plain text post too for me. I just made a post without issue so trying to pin down what is in your post.

I believe it is a simple plain text post. I haven't selected any special codes.

The title is: XD-11 program mode question.

The body of the post has nothing special in it, just ordinary words, including the name "XD-11".

Strange. Can you try posting in a different forum for me and see if it happens again. Is the error page a forum pop up error box or a blank white page? Are you using any of the following:

proxy servers
VPNs
plugins blocking Java or other scripts
plugins to make webpages faster (fasterfox) or other caching plugins

It does seem like a server error, but thought I would check
Thanks

I tried posting to "Exposure discussion" instead and it failed as well.

It is a black pop-up screen with "internal server error" highlighted in a red background.

It says for me to contact "webmaster@apug.org", but that address bounces back to me.

I'm not using any proxy servers, VPN's, nor do I have any plugins. Javascript is on.

Oddly, I was able to post a "delete this" thread to the Lounge just now.

Yeah pretty strange. I'll chat with the guys at Xenforo. Thanks

However, when I try to post my Minolta question to the lounge, I get the server error again. Not only that, APUG became unavailable for about an hour - that was about an hour ago. Coincidence?

Anyway, thanks for investigating this.
