Ok, problems with search and we also need some additional software tweaks with Apache and PHP version. Hope to have this resolved soon. Thanks

Fixed login issues, but Search engine issue could be a while, waiting to hear back from the Elastisearch guy I used to set it up last time.

Got lucky and the tech I use for search software config was available for a rush job, he's got it going and we've just finished rebuilding the indexes. Should be back to normal.

Sorry guys, a few software updates on the server side were needed and it took us down for a bit. Hopefully fully stable now.

Clicking on Equipment/Medium Format Cameras results in:-
Fatal error: Cannot run code from this file in conjunction with encoded files in Unknown on line 0

    PS -
Strange, the problem is only with Chrome. Works fine with Safari (both on my iMac, MacOS Sierra 10.12.5).

    Both working fine here.
The Equipment/MFC link also works fine here.

Running Firefox on a MacBook Pro under OS X.

i haven't been here in almost 14 years.
the site looks smashing! there is a "gallery" too?

    i had trouble logging in.
i was greeted by unrecognized avatar was next to someone else's name
and my caps key stopped working.
the photo gallery of "my" images is weird too.

If anyone is still having issues please let me know. The earlier issues you had were likely due to some caching problems we cleared up. Thanks

I tried again a bit earlier today and still had the same issues with Firefox, no problem with Cyberfox or my other PC & Firefox though, so rebooted still had the problem. I was getting the same error messages as KiethM.

However everything is fine now so I think you're right Sean.

It all seems to have been pretty seamless (I speak as someone who bears the scars of many a datacentre migration.) Well done, and thank you for your ongoing investment in this site!

sean as i was typing this entry i got a large black box with red letters saying
there was some sort of server configuration error and it couldn't follow through with my request.
i was secretly asking for a pet pot belly pig. i guess i know it won't be a reality.

It should never be secret. Be proud. I am proud of my pot belly, and it's very real.

    Too real.

It's a beast. 24 cpu cores, 500GB SSD, etc. And the new datacentre has a faster network. So far so good
