Minolta Autocord TLR camera with Rokkor lens. Fully overhauled-

* Rokkor lens is clean and sharp. Viewing lens is clean. Lenses are aligned and focusing properly.
* Focus stripped, cleaned, fresh lube. Nice smooth touch.
* Shutter overhauled and cleaned/lubed. Speeds are good (1/500 is about 1/390; 1/250 is about 1/210; all other speeds close to true)
* Wind system stripped and cleaned, lubed. Nice feel, even spacing.
* New Mamiya RB67 focus screen- "B" type with microprism spot in center. Very bright and crisp.
* New Mirror
* Body and coverings are very clean and in good shape.
* Original case included. Works well, all there, threads good. Some markings, etc.
* Original metal lens cap
* A simple plastic lens hood included, because you really should use one with a TLR

All in all a very good example of this camera. The price reflects the improved focus screen already installed- usually about $80 or more. If you want a user that will work from day one, here it is.

$240 plus shipping ($15 in US; others inquire)

The serial number is 262047. The lens is labeled Chiyoko Rokkor, not Minolta. The shutter label is Optiper MVL, and the shutter name is on a ring that rotates around the lens.

Best as I can find, it may be called an RG v1, early? http://www.tlr-cameras.com/Japanese/Minolta.html

My knowledge of the Autocord progression is Optiper MX (name stationary around top of taking lens/ Seikosha-MX (name stationary around top of taking lens)/LVM, a Seikosha-MX with a light meter scabbed onto the side and name plate/ Optiper MVL (the camera for sale)/ Citizen MVL..... then the CdS models with Citizen shutters whcih I know very little about.

I want to give Dan a plug here. In recent years, I have bought two Minolta Autocords from him, and the latest has the improved RB67 focus screen that's included in the one he's selling now. Let me highlight 3 things. First, when Dan CLA's and reconditions an Autocord, he's thorough; you get a fine camera at a fine price. My first continues to perform flawlessly after several years, and my second continues to perform perfectly. Second, the RB67 viewfinder makes a noticeable improvement in ease of use. And finally, the Rokkor lens in the Autocord is a beauty. It outperforms my Rolleiflex Tessar 75/3.5 hands down.
Matt
