Kodak Medalist I 6x9 film camera. In full working condition. Clean lens, very nice and bright viewfinder with aligned rangefinder.
A chip in the leather at lens edge just below left (from front) rangefinder window and near shutter release button.
Focus is smooth but a little stiff at the beginning as you rack from storage to using position. Feels like the extra focusing knob mechanism on the side is dragging? When in actual focus range for use it is smooth.
Shutter is consistent but slow, typical for these Supermatics.
Winding and shutter cocking is smooth and consistent. When loading, it usually winds forward from the '0' position and locks; simply rotate the counter to 8 and wind until the 1 appears in the window, then set to 1 as usual. A not unusual issue for this model, I read.
Later lens, 1944. Appears uncoated. The body is the type C, last version before the II.
Will include a couple of 620 spools so you can get going right away.
