I've known his posts for what seems like almost 20 years.

no I'm not him, although I was in spencerport earlier this summer. im sickened by the things in that article. QG? he knew more about photography than most people and thats why he was hated. its too bad he left.

I am as clueless as Pentaxuser. But a fellow of that name last posted at Apug in 2006.

I think Matt may have got the dates wrong because all the posts I was able to find were only as far as 2006 as well. If I am right, he was an early member of APUG and left us in the very early days of APUG

Frank was a great guy one to one as long as you didn't stray into politics. I'm saddened to see how he has ended up.

No he did. I got into a big argument with him about it on RFF, he was defending white supremacists saying he knows many and how they are good family people etc.
He then was pushing white supremacy propaganda and it's why I am no longer on RFF. The owner of RFF left his posts up for several weeks, after being made aware of them, but gave me a temporary ban for criticizing the Pixii digital camera - I guess because he was planning on trying to sell it.

Anyway, Petronio is a hate filled racist and so good riddance.

I always wondered what happened there but it isn't any of my business so I never asked. I just noticed you were gone all of a sudden. I've practically wiped that place off my shoe as well....

Saying wrongspeak or verboten terms is different that going to a Jewish Culture center and slapping down stickers.

Like Eric said. I doubt very much Frank will see jail time. Probably a fine and community service, with probation.

I grew up in Pittsburgh. Dickinson College is not really that close to Pittsburgh. But it's still in the same state. Pasting stickers that could be construed as threatening on a Jewish center, in Pennsylvania, is more than just stupid. Someone who does that knows exactly what they are doing to the subjects of the harassment.

Yes, Bob was convicted, but it was anything but an open and shut case. He has tried to get a retrial but to no avail. As for Frank, I came across his website awhile back, which I thought was very interesting. Difficult for me to understand why he, or anybody else, would think that way,

Ah, so he may have left of his own accord in say 2006/ early 2007 under the name Frank Petronio and then came back under another name. He was then banned and hasn't either attempted a return or has attempted a return but was spotted and refused?
