Bad news is good news in this case. Its up and running! Looking forward to hearing about try #2!

Hurray! Is there any news about availability? Probably not, but asking never hurts.

Any idea when you might do a production run

Hi Ian,

you know well about the obstacles in producing silver halide materials so my answer will probably not surprise you:

"We´ll do a production run after we have finished labscale reasearch and scaled up both emulsion making as well as coating" :whistling:

Kind regards,

Mirko

Great news indeed!
Thanks for the update, Mirko.

Here's to hoping the rest of the process goes well, I'm ready to buy a fresh box of PWT.

If you want someone to test pre release coatings count me in. I've used a lot of different papers over the years but I wish I'd found Polywarmtone sooner, I only began using it after Agfa stopped trading as a consumer film/paper manufacturer. I still have enough for my next exhibition from the last Forte coating run (I hope).

This is great news. I'm down to a few dozen sheets of Fortezo and maybe a dozen of PWT. Hopefully my running out coincides with your producing more.

Missed the posting here, but I checked the PWT blog as I do every month or so. Great news, Mirko! Best of luck for your progress. I'm waiting to buy a box!

Signed your registration for a bunch of boxes. Would really love to get my hands on this paper. Thanks guys!

Fantastic news! Wish them all the best.

Down to my last 400 sheets of 8x10, all out of 11x14. I hope to God these guys can pull this off!

I've been trying to access the Polywarmtone Blog for the past couple of weeks in hopes of getting any further upadates without success.

It seems to be some sort of technical problem so I thought I'd make a mention of it here just in case Mirko is not aware of the problem.

So can I be a beta tester? Just ran out of Ilford WT and don't know if I should re-invest...

These are wonderful news, absolutely fantastic! I truly admire your dedication, Mirko, and wish you all the best. Keep up the great work!

I've been trying to access the Polywarmtone Blog for the past couple of weeks in hopes of getting any further upadates without success.
There used to be two domains linked to the Polywarmtone resurrection page.
One was www.polywarmton.com and the other is www.polywarmtone.com.
The first one has been the redirection and is somehow cut off now. The second one works ;-)
We´ll look into this once we have time but currently there is so much else to do.....

Hi Mirko, thanks for updating the links here. I just thought I'd let you know that two major sites still have links pointing to the "polywarmton" site which no longer redirects. They are:

(The site which shows print examples) http://www.moersch-photochemie.de/content/galerie/forte
(The original product description for the paper) http://www.adox.de/english/ADOX_Papers/ADOX_Papers/Polywarmton.html

Both of those are listed on your www.polywarmtone.com site. Hope this helps and best of luck with the paper!
