What is special is that there is a SINGLE copy of this lens.

I guess the flange focal distance is too short to adapt to the FD mount.

We canon FD users are not impressed with a PROTOTYPE 600mm f5.0 mirror lens, when we can have an actual PRODUCTION Canon 800mm f3.8 mirror lens.

On the other hand the Leicaflex bodies are sublime, and the "R" bodies are also great, being "improved and refined" Minolta cameras. (I say this as a good thing, i appreciate Minolta cameras.)

When I bought my brand new Contax 139, Zeiss had two mirror lenses. Two lenses that I did not want. Like you, I prefer donuts of the pastry variety!
