Gerald,

He has already been down that road, he was an advertiser, but me thinks he had different motives.

Dave

The only motive I had was to market my magazine, which I was paying for. Before I even began advertising here, Sean knew my magazine and my website had digital photography.

Given the close relationship of Emulsion and APUG, I believe Sean had other reasons for choosing to remove my spnosorship from this site. That is my opinion, though...for some reason, one magazine that talks about the process of traditional photography and another that talks about the market for black and white traditional and digital photography cannot work hand in hand to better the market for photographers..to provide more resources and information for them to use and to improve their skill and trade.

If Sean should change his mind, I stand ready to support this usefull and important forum for photographers with my finances.

Any news as to when subscribers will receive their first copy? TO be honest, I'm a bit ticked. I paid MONTHS ago and haven't received a thing. And the Contact Printers Guild (which I'm part of) even paid for an ad!

Gerhard, the first issue went out to subscribers. Any subscriber who did not receive a magazine, should e-mail me and one will be sent out. My first printer made mistakes in the mail list, so I had problems with that. You should receive the second issue this week.

If there is music I prefer it to be off in the default state and give me the option to activate it.

Flash intro is OK by me as long as there is a skip option. If not I exit within 15-20 seconds (I'm known to be a patient man :D)

For the rest I don't mind that much as long as I don't have to download a number of plugins to make the site work.

Now all of the above is really irrelevant if I really, really want to see the site :D

I have my web designer putting the finishing touches on it right now. For people with low bandwith, I will give a normal HTML entrance to the site, and then I'll give a flash entrance option or an HTML entrance option. That way, the site won't change too much from what it is now (with the exception of a minor facelift) and we'll have a new flash option...I'm thinking something jazzy...
