My daughter is a High School senior in Salt Lake City. This year she is working on the school news paper as a photographer. The faculty advisor was excited to find out I have a darkroom. He is tired of the low quality of the digital files he has used on the paper for the last ten years. That's right. For the first time in a decade the paper will be using black and white film. The film will be processed in my darkroom then scanned to disc in hi-res and returned to the school. I hope to resurrect the school darkroom in the future, they talked to me about this two years ago but nothing happened. With the return of film to the paper maybe we can open the darkroom again.
