A friend with a Minox ML recently had this problem with his film. Everything was fine through exposure #23 and then all this weirdness happened. Starting with #24 and through the rest of the roll, double exposures, dark line through the middle, advance issue. This was a brand new roll of film out of the box. Other rolls of the same emulsion were fine and normal in different cameras. Anyone have any idea what's going on? TIA

Maybe the force required to drag along the frames from 24 to 36 were too much for the internal gearing of the camera?
I know this is the case with some models, but I don't know about Minox...

What Xylo said. Try another, shorter roll (24 exp or less). If that works fine, join me in lamenting the passing of the 20 exposure 35mm roll. I have heard 35mm Minoxes (Minoces?) have problems due to the plastic-fantastic construction that their old spy-camera labelmates do not-- a shame because everybody loves the lenses.

Roll your own with a bulk loader...any length needed is at your command!

Second this.

Want a 42 shot roll? Bulk load! And then put it in a half frame! And attach a blank lead so you're pushing 90 shots on the roll.

I already bulk load. And once you start doing that, you never go back!

I roll my films in either 30 or 35 frames so that they fit perfectly into the PrintFile 5 wide sheets 😊
