Anyone use HC-110 to develop their P30 yet? Good results?

Yes, Solution B, 20C, 5 minutes. 30s initial, 1 inversion each minute thereafter.

The shop looks great! I see it currently only caters for the US, Canada and Mexico. Will there eventually be a shop that accepts orders from far-flung parts of the world (like South Africa)?

Gorgeous shots! Excellent scanning too. What do you use for scans?

Thank you very much. I use a Pakon F135 and scan to raw, convert to a tiff, then invert using colorperfect negative mode for monochrome.

Or Japan? I would love to try this film but it looks like it may be a while before I can...

The European shop will serve the rest of the world. Ferrania (Dave) said it a couple of days ago.

Scott: I see you've souped your P30 in a variety of mixes. Which is your favorite? or have you settled on one? (BTW, I've got 5 rolls coming!)

My favorite so far has been TMAX Developer 1:6 @ 24C for 7 minutes. The agitation is that described in the Kodak TMAX Sheet. To me, it gave the best, flattest, milky grays. Close second for me is the Rodinal semi-stand, I love it's coal-like grays as well, really good contrast control as an added bonus. Kodak D-96 requires constant agitation but delivered the best movie-like representation albeit a bit soft for my taste due to the high solvent action. I almost thought my Pakon was out of focus.

Ah Ha... just been notified that my order, of P30 has been shipped.
Looking forward to it..

We talk about the "staggered" shop openings here: Dead Link Removed

Actually, we are trying to find a partner to service parts of Asia on our behalf...

Scott has helped us immensely. I'll be publishing an updated Best Practices this week - much of it Scott's hard work to verify techniques submitted to us from many different people.

I just ordered 5 rolls. Can't wait to do some testing, and some wet scanning to stress test it.

Does anyone recommend XTol 1:1 in our processing machine, or should I do it by hand with Ilfosol 3?

I would use the Ilfosol 3. 1 inversion each minute. 7 minutes 1:9 @ 20C.

Mine arrived today! Hope to shoot some this weekend, though the impending snow may change my plans.

WOw! Have fun! Figuring on pent-up demand and not having made it into to kickstarter, I ordered only 5 rolls now in 35mm as I'm really looking forward to the 120... in April or thereabouts.
Given all the troubles of shooting and losing the latent images in Pan-F, I think it's a good bet this film offers a good option in lieu of Pan F. I look forward to shooting it, and seeing whether it might even step into the shoes of FP4. Can't wait to see how it soups in XTOL-R.

Great news I'd share more broadly is that the folks at Ferrania have been very careful with the shipping. They reached out to re-confirm my address which had somehow become garbled. Got it fixed, and its good to know these folks are careful as well as all the rest.

Again and again, my hats off to Ferrania for getting not just into production, but into general distribution. Thanks!

You've had trouble losing the latent image with Pan-F? I've never experienced that (but I haven't used it much). I'm wondering how long after you exposed your shot before you got the roll developed- just so I don't wait that long myself in the future!

CES1um: Not my problem per se... though I have a roll from June. When I read that the latent image is gone after 30 days, I said, "Why bother?" and so I haven't even tried developing it. I should. Seems to be a common complaint. So I assume it is real.

I mean the more you leave , the bigger the chances of it being lost. I would just develop you might get usable images.
