I have always had a smooth transaction with Fixcinater, both buying and selling. His descriptions of gear are conservative and the lenses I have purchased have been in excellent condition without exception.

Rocky posted a WTB here at APUG for a 2.8C. While I love all my Rolleiflexes I have too many and figured if he wants one I'd sell! We discussed, shared photos, came to terms. He paid fast, I shipped and 6 days later we have a new Rolleiflex owner in Australia.

B&W lot 4 Ilford 120 roll-film

I purchased B&W lot 4 Ilford 120 roll-film from the classified ad FS: 120/220 Film BW and Color posted by user martinjames.

Everything was exactly as described, in excellent condition, packaged well, and received very quickly. I would do business with him again without reservation.

FS: Sekonic L-398 Studio Master - Complete
I find I'm using my spot meter or my 308S, and this is just not getting used. Has never failed me, but I find digital displays are easier on my eyes. Works and looks great.

Includes meter, case, strap, all 3 modifiers, high slide, and instructions.

I'd like $70 including paypal and US Shipping.

Purchased from Kirks518 Friday night(4/17), it arrived in this mornings post(4/20), just as described and waayyy faster than Kirk thought(he thought Wednesday). Super sweet deal!
Great member to deal with!

This is going to be my only post in this thread regarding my sale to StoneNYC. He took a month to pay for the lenses then kept them for another 3.5 months before demanding a partial refund for the 210 Graphic-Kowa. I gave him a 30 days in his hands no questions asked return privilege and held the funds until well beyond that time. The individual prices he stated were quoted only because they suited him. This was a package deal and those prices are effective only as a package deal. The 150 SSXL alone is worth $2000-2200 and rising. The package price was $2300 for both lenses and this included shipping and insurance. Prices vary greatly on eBay and elsewhere and I've seen the 210 Kowa sell for $600 and higher and that's for the ones that don't illuminate 11x14. The version I sold does indeed illuminate 11x14 because I tested it on my Toyo 810G, first zeroing everything then using 3 inches each of rise and shift. No corners were dark. I do realize there's a difference between "illuminating" and "covering" but it'll be fine stopped down to f/22-32 as it should be. The lens was not scratched nor blotchy when I shipped it. Regarding "dust and grime"... they were both quite clean but sometimes a spec or two of dust creeps in... everyone with any experience knows this. There was definitely no "grime". Stone was constantly trying to get me to lower the prices plus he would PM with information he knew was wrong to try and fool me into making a mistake and promising something that would hurt me. He also claimed the center filter was included which was never the case. Stone has been an absolute pain to deal with. As of this moment, he's solely responsible for me never again selling on a forum. From now on I'll only sell on eBay because even though eBay policies are draconian against sellers at least there are rules that buyers must also follow. Some people seem to think rules of fairness don't apply to them. To top this off Stone takes all the free things he can get claiming he's "broke" yet buys more than nearly anyone else on this forum. Basically, had he badgered me into giving into his demands he would have had a $2200 150 SSXL AND $600 center filter for $1400 delivered. How, in any stretch of the imagination is that fair?

I'll not post all of our correspondence because there are far too many but I invite any moderator who wants to spend the time to go through them. I saved them all. If I were to post them Stone would be quite embarrassed.

Stone took it upon himself to "clean" the lenses and take them apart. In my opinion, when he did that (instead of requesting a return on grounds that the lenses were not clean) he voided any right to a refund or return. As I understand it, this is the primary rule that applies in eBay for buyers: if the buyer disassembles an item, the item cannot be returned even if there otherwise is grounds for a return. In my opinion, Stone's recitation of the facts does not pass the smell test and his expectation of a return months after the sale is patently unreasonable.

Bought a Seneca 6B from Fixcinater last Friday, only took until Monday to arrive, and looked just like the pic and his description. It was cheap, and in much better nick than guessed.
I would always recommend dealing with Fixcinater, a square shooter and a pleasure to deal with.
