Thanks, everybody. Well, last night was family night. It went surprisingly well. I just want today to be done with. Given the choice, I say just put the old girl in the ground. I got to see her birthmark, the one on her hairline, one last time. It's just a shell.

But I got a lot done this week. Did a butt load of cleaning last wekk and just happened to find all of the things I would need now to get stuff changed over. No longer being the caretakers, we have been able to see more people and go more places as a family this last week than in the preceding four months. And that's a good thing. All things considered, it has been a good week. The future holds promise.

So, I just wanted to thank you all again for the well wishes. Time to get this funeral over with. Just get through today and let the sun rise tomorrow.

Hi Christopher,
You'll have some rough days, but you'll have some OK days too. Eventually the OK days outnumber the bad ones, and you'll get better as time goes on. You can't make it go any faster, but take pleasure in the little things, try to get out with friends and family. If you're having a bad day, just accept it as a bad day, get home, watch a movie, and try to escape for a couple of hours.

Chris,

It's good that you have family around you. Yesterday our daughter and eight month old granddaughter were visiting. Our granddaughter's name is Faith.

Sorry to hear of your loss, but it will only be for a little bit. The saga will continue and the reunion will be beyond your expectations. Till then take comfort in the knowledge of your loved one's protection which transcends yours.

My deepest sympathies and prayers to you and your family. Remember how dark the day might seem there exist a sun behind the clouds and it will raise every morning, hang in there and think of all your good memories.
