Fo unmounted prints I do front to back and will slip sheet them if they are really special. I do framed or matted prints front to front and back to back.

Hmmmm....it might depend on how powerful one of the images are. A really powerful image might detract or conversley overwhealm the other in a face to face presentation.
I think that would be a concern of mine...otoh since I've never taken a powerful image that wouldn't apply to me!
