this would be with regard to framed items, exposed unexposed film or paper or how best to deal with loved ones and enemies alike?

Are you thinking of

"Face to face
and back to back
You see and feel
My sex attack"

(Billy Idol, Flesh for Fantasy)?

I have no idea what the question is.
But I like Billy Idol. He had the right idea...

I can't vote until somebody explains who's face, who's back, what would be "all lined up", and exactly what is involved in "other".

No thanks John, but thank you for the offer

My wife and I are still finding enough 'variations on the theme' that we don't need outside help

Fo unmounted prints I do front to back and will slip sheet them if they are really special. I do framed or matted prints front to front and back to back.

mine all enjoy their time together,
back to back and face to face,
both when they take a bath,
and in cold storage ...

Hmmmm....it might depend on how powerful one of the images are. A really powerful image might detract or conversley overwhealm the other in a face to face presentation.
I think that would be a concern of mine...otoh since I've never taken a powerful image that wouldn't apply to me!

I must be incredibly thick. I still don't understand the question. What does 'face to face' or 'back to back' mean? Sorry if I seem a little behind the trend on this one.

I give up. Still like Billy Idol's take on it though.

I can't help myself...

One afternoon in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys began to fight
Back to back they faced each other
Pulled out their swords and shot each other
A deaf policeman heard the noise,
And came and killed the two dead boys.
Now if you think this tale is tall
Ask the blind man, for he saw it all.

I think I first heard this over forty years ago. I think I'm getting stage one alzheimers...

After I press them, they go in an old photo paper box, all lined up, one box per edition. (I make my relatively small runs of a print at the same time.) The next time one gets moved is when I pull the top one out to mount it, when it is going to somebody.

And now I've got Blondie stuck in my head, from Rapture

You go out at night and eat up bars where the people meet
Face to face, dance cheek to cheek
One to one, man to man
Dance toe to toe
Don't move too slow, 'cause the man from Mars
Is through with cars, he's eatin' bars
Yeah, wall to wall, door to door, hall to hall
He's gonna eat 'em all
Rapture, be pure

...sounds like that old rhyme intoxicated italian men would say at family parties that ends with ass to ass and cheek to cheek.
