E100 just wants you to nail the exposure. Go a little under and it cools more.

Wow, that shot of the trees looks really cool! I like how you leaned into using a shallow DoF to make that bright spot stand out both in light and focus among the farer trees. I find MF shallow focus at longer distances to look so unique and great! And that one doesn't lean particularly cool, imho. Even in the darker spots.

The following one, definitely! Everything from the light on the dog's fur, the leaves, the bark on all the trees, the sky, they're all extra cool in tone. Nice dog :D

The yellow flowers and the bricks seem a tiny bit colder on the last one, but otherwise it's not too shifted either.

I actually shot my first 2 rolls of E100 on a 6x6 and I felt inclined to make more dramatic shots like that. However, I'm using a Super Ikonta and the lens doesn't lock parallel to the film plane so I usually have the foreground more out of focus at wide apertures, even when focused at infinity... Regardless, I found it to be very neutral when I developed it. Even focusing on lighting up the darker areas, I found the color to still look quite neutral to my eyes. If anything, I think the highlights seem to have very very slight green cast to them.

I still want to try using a warming filter on it and I preemptively got a couple as they seem to be must-haves for shooting slides.

This thread is going to be helpful to me when I can no longer get Provia 100f ... which I prefer over Ektachrome. In the EU, Provia 100f in 120 size (I make stereo slides for viewing in an optical viewer) is also about half the cost of Ektachrome at all the major online stores like FotoImpex, Maco, Retro etc, around €11 a roll compared with €22+ for Ektachrome (120 size).

Correction: I've just bought a new box of 120 size Provia 100f from FotoImpex (usual supplier, always good pricing relative to others) and it's gone from €11/roll to €18/roll + shipping ... a increase of more than 60% !!! I suppose the only positives are: (i) I could actually get some new stock and (ii) it's still cheaper than Ektachrome 100 here in Europe. To be fair to Fujifilm, prior to this there had been no increase in price for at least 4 years.
