Great! Just last week my friends were fearing the death of 120 film but if Kodak, in this day and age, is introducing a new 120 film I don't think those fears are justified at all. What a relief, I can continue using my holga!

How about a new affordable, quality roll-film camera

Just imagine the increase in the sale of film, if Mamiya, Fujifilm or even Kodak would market a new, affordable roll-film camera. The lens quality is the key feature in making it a classic camera. I believe that mostly collectors will be buying the new, expensive, Fuji/Cosina folder. The buyers probably won't shoot many rolls, if any, with the 667 folder. I'll have to wait for a collector's estate sale to find the camera at an affordable price.

I hope someone from Kodak picks up on this thread and reports the resounding welcome that a new film has received.

Lets start a "Please start making Technical Pan again" campaign :D

Mike

I think they'll be sure to report the sales figures to the Board as soon as they become available (will have to wait for the film to be available first).
That, not what people say they might do in an internet forum, would appear to be a much, much better measure for the welcome the film will get.

The thoughts about reviving MF camera manufacture, just because some people say they would like to use a film in MF cameras they as yet haven't used at all ...
Yikes!

Many a good idea has been widely lauded as such, yet failed miserable when it eventually came down to people having to pay for it.

YaHOO!

I just got SHIPPING CONFIRMATION and a TRACKING NUMBER from Adorama. It's on its way, it's on its way... :D

I just got a sample from Kodak!

I got one pro-pack from Calumet and a single roll from Adorama. I'm waiting for another 4 rolls from Adorama.

Freestyle list it in stock now. Perfect timing now that spring colors are coming out in full force.

I had ordered 5 Propacks from Adorama - 1 was delivered (but the invoice showed they had "shipped" five). Packer was obviously confused as to what 5 Propacks meant - email has been sent to C/S. Negs have been developed and they are going into the enlarger in 5 minutes!

I got one sample roll from Kodak to compare with UC400.

Steve

Very nice film - grain is virtually nonexistent. Have NOT shot Ektar 35mm, so this is my first experience with it - the mask is rather pink, less orange, than Porta 160VC. I added 15M and 15Y to balance in comparison to Porta.

My two pro packs just walked in the door, thank you Adorama! Now if we only had some sunshine...

Just got my 2 propacks from adorama. Can't wait to try it out!

Jamie

Just heard from Adorama that my 4 remaining propacks are now on backorder with an anticipated shipment in May  Oh well, I have a few rolls left to play with.
