More excited about new E6 chemistry noted in the FAQ's.
The 4x5 will come in 25 sheet boxes, no??
now if I could find some 6x7 slide mounts...
Did you all pickup that the new E100 120 will have a New Backing Paper? Better storage properties.
Kodak isn't Ilford...
4x5 expected at B&H 59.99 USD
For 4x5 sheet film? That sounds high. Freestyle has it at 46.79 and Film Photography Project has it at 39.95 (which seems low). Not great not terrible.
Yep, you are correct friendThat sounds high. Freestyle has it at 46.79 and Film Photography Project has it at 39.95 (which seems low). Not great not terrible.
The one UK supplier I can find so far has this listed on pre-order for £62 a pro-pack.
I pre-ordered one, but there's no way I'll be using this regularly if it remains at that price. Not when I can get 10 rolls of Provia 100F for £70.
I've not seen 10 rolls of Provia 100F for £70 for a while?
Yes, from Ffordes. I just bought another 4 pro-packs myself, as I doubt it will remain at that price for very long.
I'm waiting for my 35mm test roll to come back before ordering any 4x5. I sold off all my 8x10 chrome film a couple years ago due to having switched to Ektar color neg. But if the neutrality of this new Ektachrome is good enough, I might consider it in 8X10 again. Polyester base is essential to my printing needs, because acetate is not dimensionally stable and won't stay in register with masks. Ektar is great, but there are certain lighting situations it struggles with. And I love the way you instantly know what you've got when you slap a chrome atop a lightbox.
